The minimum age for a private pilot certificate is 16 for balloons and gliders, and 17 for powered flight (airplanes, helicopters, and gyroplanes). Pilots can begin training at any age and can solo balloons and gliders at age 14 and powered aircraft at age 16.
The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours total time. 20 hours Flight Training, 10 hours solo, 3 hours cross country flight training, 5 hours solo cross country, 3 hours prep, 3 hours night and 3 hours instrument training. It’s really up to you as to how soon you complete your lessons.

It is the duty of your flight instructor to prepare you and sign off for your solo. Typically this can happen from anywhere between 14-20 hours of dual instruction time.
All forms of payment are accepted for flight training. We also work with several companies that can finance your flight training.
All of our instructors are FAA certified and very experienced, meeting all the necessary requirements for flight training instruction.
